Thank you for a solution. But I'll stick to my 1 finger typing. You must be a young guy...to know much about computer.
Not necessarily Some of the teachers I have are old, but they know so many things, it's incredible. But you're right, I'm young.

My age is same as Tom Watson...the golfer who won 5 times...THE OPEN...My most favorite golfer of all time.
    wow... Then I understand.

Regarding your question about Yuna... She just makes me happy when I watch her. Especially when she skates. It is surrealistically beautiful. Before I became her fan I was having a certain rule, that I will never be a fan of any celebrity, because most of then are all made up and their fans look like idiots. So when I saw Yuna and I was in awe, I spent a lot of time investigating about her and despite that I tried hard to find typical flaws in her, I didn't find any. I tried to be as objective as I could. I liked her as a skater, but she is immense as a person, as a whole being. So I broke my rule and became her fan. I think, I always try to see Yuna as she is and not like I would like to imagine her. But she often is better than my imagination is. I know, that most of the people would never believe it, so it's OK not to believe me. But she is really that good as a person in my opinion and, maybe that's why many fans of her are unbiased or less biased than other fans. A lot of fans of Yuna are as well fans of other skaters, like Mao Asada and some even prefer Mao or other skater, but they don't have any problems with other fans of Yuna. Just some hours ago some fan of Yuna wrote an incredibly extensive and protective text about Brian Orser on Yuna forum, and a lot of people agreed about being too biased to him lately (although I don't think they were biased in the first place).
Of course Yuna is not an ideal and I fully realize that I don't know her personally and she may have a lot of flaws that we don't know about, and even by what I know about her she has flaws, of course. She is a human like everyone else, but said so, I think she is really exceptional human, that are rarely seen these days. That's why I don't like tags like "fairytale existence" and so. Her life is far from being fairytale.
But I can understand that people apply to her their typical, provided from experience, trends. With all those celebrities we see on TV, it looks like Yuna is too good for this World as some of her fans represent her. But I also know this, and I am cautious, but I still arrived to a conclusion that she really is that good. And that's more than enough to become her fan.

And I'm glad that she made me love figure skating. I enjoy all of the skaters that are over there and always wish them to do their best. Not to fall, at least. Hate when they fall.
So it's like this, hope you'll understand

What was most surprising to me though is that Yuna was not present at the meeting where Orser was fired. One would think she would want to be present to deliver the news and to thank the person who helped her achieve so much.
No, Yuna's mama is totally in charge of her life. What mama says goes.

Of course I understand you. I love Yuna no less than you. We share many common area why we love Yuna.
Unlike you...I was a fan of the New York Yankees but after I found Yuna...no more Yankees.

I've been following ladis figure skating for 45 years and my favorites are...
Sasha Cohen, Kristi Yamaguchi, G&G(Russian Pair) and few others.
They are beautiful skaters basically...when they perform on the ice...

Kristi is very similar in style to Yuna...beautiful choreography with excellent dancing ability.
But I like Yuna better. Sorry Kristi.
I fotgot to tell you...if it's not Yuna...I like Mao best in artistic style.

I don't think I agree with this sentence......on the contrary, I find Yuna fans some of the most biased....

    other than that, beautiful post.

    Lol I agree with you.

Think you have to split the fan base into 2 sub groups.
The true figure skating fans that love Yuna.
The "nationalistic" fans that love Yuna but not really skating.

    Second group is aggressive.

Oh, I should have cleared this. I referred to the fans I know and with whom I talk usually. I'm aware that there are really biased fans too and they damage Yuna's image in some cases. But this different groups usually are separate from each other.

I have been pleasantly surprised that so many Mao fans have shown restraint and even respect during this tough episode in Yuna's life. Hardly a negative word has been spoken about Yuna's skating, and Olympics/Worlds.

Other than a few objections about linking Mao herself to this story I would say Mao Asada fans have shown class. Mucho.
It also seems there are many skating fans at GS who are fans of both Yuna and Mao.

I am one of them and also like Laura, Joannie, Kanako, Alissa, Caroline, Kiira, Miki, Ashley, Min Jung, Akiko, Carolina, Cynthia, Chelsea, Amanda, and my favorite for last, Mirai.

flattered that Mao Asada was going to dump Tarasova (who was a legend even when Brian was competing) and come to him? Heck yeah I'd be flattered too, no matter who it was!

that did cross my mind a couple of days ago... but at this point I wouldn't want to be them and reveal that plot I think it'd backfire immensely!

Can't disagree here. How many "newcomers" in both this thread and the one on FSU came out of the woodwork just to put in their 2 cents in? And mostly going in on Orser, too. Fanboys...(or the lesser term more frequently used- "bots")

Always weary when a person is perceived in such a high manner, put on such a tall pedestal. It almost makes me wish to look for faults in said person just to prove these fanboys wrong. But I don't need to do that- eventually, true colors will be shown and these people will defend her to the hilt anyway. she just CANNOT DO WRONG NO MATTER WHAT in these folks' eyes. The perfect person is a fantasy...and in the case of many people who idolize a celebrity, that fantasy is projected onto him/her...and should the fan ever meet his/her idol, reality comes crashing down...

Well, it is certainly true that Yu-na has been perceived publicly as a supernaturally perfect person living a supernaturally perfect life. This incident shows that she has problems just like everyone else. Maybe this will make people like her even more.

I think it worked out that way for Michelle Kwan. When she didn't always achieve what she most hoped for, people liked her all the more for showing graciousness and class even in adversity.

I was that fangirl when I was in my teens - trust me Mathman and some of the others can attest to my zaniness. I can only hope with maturity and better understanding of the sport - should they stay with it long after their favorite moves on - that they start looking at their favorites as I do. I've tried very hard in later years to find the faults as well as the best parts of the person's skating, and I try not to get so invested with the personal life (it's just that, PERSONAL).

Doesn't mean I don't get disappointed when something pops up and turns into a stupid soap opera (I like both Yuna and Brian, and really think, of all involved, they aren't the ones calling the shots...)
