Adelina did only 2 combos in her FS in Graz, so if Liza did 3 she didn't even need the triple axel.
So happy for her! Great job, Liza! Can't wait to see her and Adelina in the final

    Protocolls are up!
Liza did really her best! The Goe´s are fantastic and the most important, her pirourettes improved soooo much since last season.

Judges Scores for the FS: http://www.isuresults.com/results/jg..._FS_Scores.pdf

    Liza had the following elements:
    3Lz+3T
    3Lz
    3F
    3S+2T+2Lo
    CCoSp4
    3Lo
    3S
    2A+2A+SEQ
    LSp3
    CiSt2
    FCSp4

Wow, a 7 triple FS. And only one negative GOE at all from any judge. A single -1. Everything else was 0 or positive, even a lot of 2's and some 3's. She got 11.20 for the 3-3 alone.

Ayumi Goto attempted a 3T+3T in the second half of the program! I hope she lands it successfully later this season!

You cannot compare it in that way. The PCS are really different from competition to competition.
But it will be so great to see both at the JGPF. Hope both can skate their best there!
And with Shelepen ,Gao and Sirai there are more who can do really well.
JGPF will a really intresting competition with a deeeeep field!

Wow, good for Elizaveta!! What a monstrous score. The PCS is quite something.

I'm still crossing my fingers for little Zijun Li to sneak in and make the JGPF! I know even if she does make it, she probably won't medal in this deep field. But it would still be wonderful to see her compete on home ice!

Yes, so am I!! Right now half the spots are locked in with Adelina, Elizaveta, Christina, and Yasmin. That leaves room at the last event for Polina Sheleppen, Risa Shoji, Kiri Baga, and Li Zijun?? She'll need at least a silver to get by Kristiene Gong though. That or mistakes from the others...
