1. Takahashi
2. Schultheiss
3. Abbott
4. Denis Ten
5. Van Der Perren
6. Amodio
7. Mura
8. Sawyer

5. Zhang & Wang

DANCE
1. Davis & White
2. Cappellini & Lanotte

They are having a prediction contest over at FSUniverse. Here are my entries.

5. Maylin HAUSCH / Daniel WENDE (GER)
6. Stefania BERTON / Ondrej HOTAREK (ITA)

Ice Dance
I'm not sure who other than Meryl and Charlie can win.

1. Meryl DAVIS / Charlie WHITE (USA)
2. Maia SHIBUTANI / Alex SHIBUTANI (USA)
3. Elena ILINYKH / Nikita KATSALAPOV (RUS)
4. Kaitlyn WEAVER / Andrew POJE (CAN)
5. Cathy REED / Chris REED (JPN)

3. Kevin VAN DER PERREN (BEL)
4. Jeremy TEN (CAN)
5. Florent AMODIO (FRA)

2. Caroline ZHANG (USA)
3. Ashley WAGNER (USA)
4. Rachael FLATT (USA)
5. Carolina KOSTNER (ITA)

This is my guess for the men's podium:

1. Takahashi
2. Abbott
3. Schultheiss

I have a soft spot for Sawyer, so all I ask is that he finishes in the Top 5.

In Ice Dance, I expect Davis & White will win gold, and Weaver & Poje will be on the podium.

ETA: Lol, I ended up being totally wrong about Schultheiss! :p

The only sure prediction I can make is for Gold: Dance-D/W and Pairs-P/T.

Dai and Mao IMO are front-runners for Gold but Silver or Bronze is a possibility.
Just a few more days to go. Can't wait!

If Yuzuru land all his jump I think he will likely at least get bronze , but his jump is not really stable now. And I'm sure he will include quad in his routine even he hasn't master it.

There's no "stable" jumper in men's. If Hanyu lands all jumps he can possibly win this competition. As long as he doesn't fall behind in the SP, he will be given a medal anyway. It's quite apparent the JSF has aranged this field for Hanyu to win a medal.

You are showing an obvious grudge against Japan here and there and everywhere, and you care for US skaters and Chinese skaters (and you understand Chinese), right? But you are using a name quite similar to a Japanese family name. I remember once Yuna fans called you a Japanese and a Mao fan when you bashed Yuna because of your name. So confusing.

As far as girls go-prediction is this, flatt only way will win is if 1) mao blows program, 2)they cheat for her by overlooking her ur’s and edge calls , her lack of speed and her mule kick. I have yet to see her skate fast.-slow, deliberate—not even medium.
Ashley and Zhang can medal but has to skate clean and no falls. Stiff competition from Mao, Caroline Kostner, Kiira Korpi, Kanako Murakami, Victoria Helgesson .
U.S. girls has to fight for it instead of walzing through and no fight because of competition.
I am wondering if they won’t cheat because the U.sf.sa. tells them to just because they want Rachel up there , just because they can, won’t tell them to overlook Rachel, Ashley mistakes and Nail Zhang’s just because they can and have been doing it for years and just because that is the way it has been done since skating began.
I also can tell you don’t like zhang of how you don’t want her up there and by how you state “her bad season”because of being told ahead of time to watch out her mistakes and not Ashley and rachels. How they told them to do it as 14 year old and didn’t mention her injury at all last year.
Figure skating is if nothing else repetitive or doing them the same why just because we always did.
Prediction only favor the skaters you want up there not necessarily who skates better –cause they all can skate well. And you keep the skaters you don’t want up there low and crucify them—like zhang.

I'm just going to copy and paste Silverlake's

But I think Imaginary Pogue's is very interesting with Kostner on top. Definitely, if Caro is at the top of her game she would be the highest scorer after Mao. So a top-of-her-game Caro could edge out even a relatively clean Mao if Mao's 3a get downgraded or something.
Caro hasn't been at the top of her game for ages and ages. OTH, she's sticking around for another season and probably working hard and there is not as much pressure as last year so she could very well have a good year.
Also, if Kiira hits all her jumps for once in her life (no doubling), I think she'll be on the podium no matter how the others do. The judges just love those Finn girls and Kiira's programs are very nice this year.
I'll be disappointed if all three U.S. ladies are shut out of medals and I'm not counting them out by any means. Rachael seem to struggle in early events and Caroline is a big question mark so I'd bet on Ashley for the best chance at a medal. But not counting out the other two for a medal of any color and I'm so curious to see if Caroline has improved at all this year. I am crossing my fingers for that.
