Yay they did air Ashley's SP, I'm so glad!
3Lz was clearly one-footed, but I watched that jump frame by frame and the takeoff edge looked flat, did not look like it was outside as I had hoped to see after the summer competition report.

Second warm-up group is up. Caroline and Rachael look ready.

It's nice seeing everybody warming up, but I'm surprised I'm not that excited, lol. I guess I miss the old days when skating was about the whole package, not just jumps or how many points one can accumlate.
I now see Kanako also beat Ashley on PCS, which I don't agree with at all, not at all.
Six more skaters & we're done.

My gosh, Elene I don't recognize at all! (8^O I guess they decided to make her over into a blonde bombshell bimbo. :(
She singled her 2A, had a slight bobble on her combo, but otherwise her triples are classic Russian Irina Slutskaya style. But her spins were slow & so was she imho.

Holy Cow I don't recognize Caroline at all either!!!!!!!!!! (8^OOO She's grown a ton of inches & also gained a little weight (most likely muscle), she looks totally different, even her skating.
Still slow going into 2A & also into one of her spirals the jump into it was lackluster, but I DID notice that the height on her triples is higher now! *clap*

Caroline Zhang clean! I can't keep track of jump layout & spins and everything without a pen in hand, but that was a good program from her. Not amazing, but such a great effort! She has less of a mule-lick now!! Her summer sessions have really helped. I'm so excited for her this season.
She did 3F-2T, 3Lo and 2A, I think.
