I can't tell if you're making fun of me (I'm a fanbot about these two) - but if you're not.... They talked about the Golden Waltz compulsory and the difficulty in integrating it with the Short Dance. They are big fans (especially Scott) about bringing ice dance to two disciplines. They ran through their Golden Waltz from Torino last year, talking about what the judges were looking for (they emphasized that the technique would be more important this season here).

I'm gonna miss this but I really hope P/I and C/P do well.

And if you were making fun, that's okay too. I really do go over the top for these guys.

I was certainly not making fun of you, I am a huuuuuuuge V/M fan too ! And TYVM for the info !

I really love watching Paul Poirier! He creates such beautiful pictures on the ice with his wonderful posture and deep knee bends. Excellent skating skills! It doesn't hurt that he's totally gorgeous either!

She has a relatively simple red dress with pretty white gloves, and some white
piping trim and a small red ruffle at the hem.
He a red shirt buttoned up to the collar, white vest, black pants
Theirs a tie under the vest.
It's their debut on the GP
crossing f/w a bit slow
reverse twizzles. he has a tad trouble but pretty good
GW. 2nd segment first The twizzle was hopped
leglines don't always match
Shoot the duck was low enough to count
rotational lift to end
Crowd response rather tepid,
40.07 (not a very good score)

Stefanie Frohberg and Tim Giesen GER (ISU Ranked 54th)
Coach: Rene Lohse
Choreographer: Jutta Deutschland
She has a 2 tone blue kind of dirndl-y dress with lacings and a
crinoline. Black edge to the little puffy sleeves. Black ribbon
with an oval pin on her neck .He has a white shirt, black pants
Music: Tanz der Hopfenden?
She poses like a doll,
and she keeps doing it
rotational lift draped limply over his arm
twizzles slow I think Level 3
they kiss
they waltz
first segment first
low shoot the duck
Second segment
think he missed the pivot on the spread eagle
some problem with the layback
midline step
some failures of unison, wildness by him
a floppy rotational doll lift to end
she goes back to being a doll again
It was kind of charming, but a bit too much of an exhibiton number
And slow, as far as I can tell from IN
43.00

Start with La Cumparsita ?
If that was a f/w sequence there was a problem
Appears to be 3 sets twizzles
GW to the tango? No kidding. first segment
She missed a step, I think
recovered by the shoot the duck
second segment better
back to tango explicitly
Rotate vertically then horizontally
F/w quite close together
Better than the last 2, but I am not super thrilled
50.55 into first.

aqua dress, top edged in black, spaghetti straps, long black gloves

Wiggling to take their position.
Starts with the GW
Pretty good speed
They are not hitting these GW positions as crisp as the judges
have been liking
rotational lift with changes of position
footwork
quickstep I think?
jump into twizzles. He messes his up. Won't be level 4.
Good speed but very sloppy.
Kind of pleasant though

Sleeveless.
She is doing ballet arms a lot. They kiss (mime)
jump into twizzles
not good synchro
segment 1 gw
this is like a rap waltz
segment 2 pretty good
lift flips onto his should and rotates
straightline
edges could be better
I fail to hear the beat on a lot of this
End pose
54.43 into 1st.

ANd there is an enormous white puffy sleeve there. Her dress is red trapless with long sleeves, and a white net
overskirt trim in spots. It has a keyhold in the front middle of the bodice. It's quite pretty on her, in an ice dance sort of way.
f/w
twizzles on one foot both way to get the level. Unison off.
rotational lift
GW, reasonably good
midline f/w, crossing
51.56, into 2nd.

GW padam padam
nice low shoot the duck
he hits the pivot
twizzle/layback a bit weak
f/w now
rotational lift, good speed in it, a nice position change.
They hug at the end.
Piaf does work for the waltz SD, I've got to say.
54.19 into 2nd

and black bow tie.
Start immediately in a rotational lift with her head down and
feet up
Very fast
into GW
She isn't low enough in the Shoot the duck.
Timing is good
The layback looked good.
f/w midline close together
he had a little trip no big deal
twizzles very slow 3 sets, I think
