Choppy feed for radio-ca :(
Choppy feed for radio-ca :(
Well, Patrick managed to stay upright for the majority of his program.
I wonder what kind of score he's going to get.
Probably podium for sure though, he's not that far out of the top 3 after the SP.
what happened to skate buzz? why is it not showing this live?
Chan should be proud of that skate. He struggled with some elements, but the fight to save the jumps (the lutz, the second 3A). He might not deserve the medal he'll get, but that was a skate to build on. I think the choreography improved from last season as well. He should be hammered on GOES though (I hope).
Well Chan's quad was great and smooth but everything else seems to be a struggle but he'll break the record.![]()
Other than one fall, Patrick looked pretty sharp out there.
Patrick
4toe - well done!
3Axel - big fall! (did he rotate it?)
3Lutz - squeaked out; should not get +GOE
3Axel+2toe
3Lutz+1/2loop+1Salchow
3flip - barely held on; should get -GOE
3loop+3toe - eeked out; should get -GOE
2Axel
Patrick Chan.

Well, well, well....
166.32
That's not as outrageous the SP. That's not as outrageous at the SP. Repeat
another ridiculous score IMO. should have been in the 150 range. 166 is totally outrageous!
It was a good skate for Chan. His face seemed so expressionless to me, though, not a huge deal... however if this is last year's program with a few jump changes then it's disappointing he didn't emote with his face more. Definitely the most smooth out there...
onto Brian Orser's boy.
ARipp!
Rach PC No. 2 - why doesn't anyone use Rach PC No. 3, it's just as beautiful!
Lands the 3A-2T!
