both of those are good, but I think a case can be made for this one:

Being able to do insanely difficult footwork which having complex matching arm movements knocks my socks off.

Oh--and I'm fond of Stephanie Rosenthal:

And here's one of Ilia Klimkin's best LP's to Petrushka:

That was incredible. Her change of edge spiral in that program takes my breath away.
But I offer this as my favorite perfect program: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=777YeHmR1C8
Virtue/Moir - Mahler
If I could only watch one program for the rest of my life, this would be it.
There are just too many to choose from with The Kwan. What about this:

It's just pure heaven.
I've wanted to start a thread in the run up to this year's nationals asking people to remembe their favorite nationals performances but I've hesitated because - well, for many wouldn't it be all Kwan for the women?? I still might but if I had to make a top 10 list for the women it's hard not to think Michelle wouldn't be at least half the list![]()
Agreed, Layfan! At least, it would be for me. Remember to hold a spot for Naomi Nari Nam, though!
That is my other favorite. In fact, I rank this maybe as the best figure skating performance of all time. Check out the 16 seconds all on one foot about two minutes in. And the split falling leaf is so perfectly timed to the music. And the spread eagle across the entire rink...I could go on and on.
