To contribute further to this Matt Savoie fan club thread, Matt graduated with high honors last year from Cornell Law School and joined the prestigious firm of Choate, Hall and Stewart. While in law school Matt won an award for outstanding achievement in the field of Philosophical Foundations of Legal Ethics. (Sounds like the title of the World’s Shortest Book :) ) He also served as informal coach and mentor for the Cornell figure skating team and participated in charity skating events.

Matt previously obtained a master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Illinois. (He went to school full time while skating competitively leading up to the 2006 Olympics.) He served a term as the athlete’s representative to the ISU’s all-important technical committee.

Best move – hydroplane entrance into triple Lutz. :rock

I know its me and not them - but I never ever not ever got this pair... always preferred: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kcEOSeU08c&feature=related

Can't help you on that one KW :)

I used to like D/M the most - but as the years go by I find myself liking G/G more and more.

Like Button still reminds us occassionaly - Pairs used to be first and foremost about two skating as one. I miss that aspect in the CoP era where the big tricks are more important than the unison.
When I watch G/G, the way Katia used to look at Sergei........ can't descibe it other than to say for me it was magical.

OK, I admit it - I am a Katia fanboy
