For P/I and I/K they also have to learn the Golden, notoriously difficult.
Time to tone down the hype over P/I and I/K. These teams are very inexperienced in big competitions and can't live up to the expectations.
They should be here to learn how to compete on the senior tour

So much for Canadians not doing as well in Russia
I haven't seen their performance but can tell by the 3 deductions that they didn't perform as well as at SC, yet their PCS are only 0.09 lower? Interesting.

They didn't perform as well. She fell during the straight line step sequence, and presumably the two deductions were for overlong/illegal lifts.

    M/Z got 57.24!!!

1 Sequential Twizzle Level3 twizzle problems for him still, may have got 4
2 Midline Not Touching Steps Level 3 did she put a foot down on that twizzle?
    3 Golden Waltz Segment 1 Level 3 maybe 4
4 Golden Waltz Segment 2 Level 3 definitely not right in the cascade
5 Rotational Lift Level2 small lift problem, lost a level
    6 Transitional Lift
About the same as CoC for me, maybe .5 better?
    tes 31.22

Cup of China, fourth in the SD 52.69
    better look for Max

1 Midline Not Touching Steps Level 2 good unison would like deeper edges
2 Golden Waltz Segment 2 Level 2 like the start
3 Golden Waltz Segment 1 Level 4 Nora is great! Max not quite so much.
4 Sequential Twizzle Level ? first set OK then SCREEN FREEZE
5 Rotational Lift Level 3 from the replay, I think. Resetting madly I get back with their bows.

Looked good to me what I could see of it.

3 Golden Waltz Segment 1 Level? problem with a step
4 Midline Not Touching Steps Level 3 close together
    5 Sequential Twizzle Level ?

Not expecting a great score here.

    (Tension)
    O face

1 Sequential Twizzle Level4 but a bit out of sync

Just not that song that a domestically abusive murderer is singing after he has killed his girlfriend, which is why it is creepy to me too.

That's what I mean. They didn't perform as well here but they got essentially the same PCS as SC, where there is supposedly a huge bump for Canadian skaters!

    Yes, this is true.

But it is also true that both teams will do a lot better in the FD, I think.

Definitely congratulations are in order to Bobrova & Soloviev!

Despite that, it made the list of the all time evergreen songs. Don't listen to the lyrics...
