Yeah - what happened to Cynthia that her score is that low? Thought she would have been in the same range as Alissa!

3T-3T, 3Lo (<?) and 2A. I have not liked any of the step sequences thus far, but I do like this music on her.

Nice program from Kira Korpi, only slight shakey landing on the 3R jump, otherwise everything else a-okay.

I think Phaneuf is just way too inconsistent...and her only truly consistent triple is her 3T...
Lacoste has much better choreography this season and she's starting to become a factor in international events.

    Kiira gets 61.39 (SB) 32.08/29.31

The SPs over sixty this season have ridiculous technical content.

Wow! I didn't see that one coming! Korpi, 61.39! Now watch her completely blow it in the LP like she always does.

Kiira's PCS-- are they the highest of this season for the SP? I mean, her TES is a point lower than Haruka's...

Mao kind of falls on her 3A. Not enough speed going into it & it's like her knees collapsed on her. Goes for 3Lo-2Lo. FALLS ON HER FLIP?!

She looked much better in practices, though.

No. Kostner has had the highest PCS in the SP this season so far.

That would make sense because Kostner's jump content was less than Kiira but she still scored higher. Kiira's program was good, but not 60+ good IMO.

So Asada will fail to make the final group of skaters again.

I honestly wish Mao would've just taken the whole season off, maybe even two if that's what it takes because it really is unpleasant to see her fall on so many jumps & skate lackluster. *1000 & 1 depressions*

I expected this, and for her to be a non-factor, but watching her is still tough. :( :( :( :(

ps: shocked that Kira is in 1st; I would have had her in 3rd or even 2nd, not 1st though. Jmho.

Who knows? She didn't pop this time, it depends on if she URs, because the GOE scales for negatives don't take as much away as before. She could make it up with the other stuff too, remember Patrick Chan in Canada?

She is overscored - no lutz, no flip and a bobbled loop....

Mao was really slow during her step sequence. Looks unhappy, but calm. 50.10 (SB) 24.66/27.44
