    Reading protocols

So, after some very long and very informative discussions about judging and its complexities and how/why people with many falls can do really well under the current rules, I've been trying to pay more attention to the protocols in order to learn more and sharpen by fan viewing skills....

Anyway, I have a really dumb question: is there an easy to find list somewhere that says what the step and spin abbreviations found on the protocols are (in words)? Thanks in advance and any other suggestions for what to look for or what you like about protocols would be most welcome!

The names of the elements with abbreviations are spelled out in the Scale of Values; see ISU communication 1611 for the latest version of the Singles/Pairs SOV
