I can't find Sylvia's link to this committee so if anyone has it, we can all read its criteria.
What I know about it seems to me to be the official body to select the World Team.
What I don't like about it, is I do not know who the members of the Committee are and why they may be so versed in selecting the Team.
If the Committee is comprised of serious sportsmanship, I would definitely welcome them as the deciding factor. If they are put together as 'filling a void' I would not welcome them, and seek another method of selecting the World Team.
