    Takahashi
    3F+3T step out probably UR
    3A fall out
    3Lz

    Kozuka
    3Lz+3T
    3A
    3F
all clean with level 4 footworks

    Oda
    4T fall
    3A
    3Lz+3T
    fell on the footwork

I must say Kozuka is already anointed as the national champion. The national judges have reached the conclusion that Kozuka with the home favorite PCS is the best option to counter "him" for the world gold. Takahashi is in the real danger of being left off the team even more, since his absence will help Kozuka's PCS very much. I'm also surprised with Hanyu's score. The PCS differences with Takahashi and Oda are much smaller than expected.

Thanks for the info. Happy for Kozuka, can't wait to see his SP. Dai's TES is so low. His jumps are really suffering and if it was not for his PC's
he would be much lower than 4th. Dai will have to bring it up a notch if he wants to medal. If he is injured(speculation on my part) the question is can he
bring it up a notch. I will be rooting for him. Good luck to the men in the FS.

Takahashi is FOURTH? And Asada is in danger of doing poorly in Ladies? I can't cope.

I knew it was going to be tense, but not this tense.

I agree. Imagine the current world champions not making the world team this season, in their own country. That would be just sad. I still have hopes for them though

Happy to see Hanyu moving on up.

btw, without Headings, I presume the list of scores were for a Short Program. Is there a list for the Ladies SP?

From what I understand, the Japanese Fed takes more than one competition in deciding the World Team. No?

I think Ladies SP take place tomorrow.

Thank you so much Nmura for the result. Do you know if Yuzuru jump flip with wrong age or not?

Tell me about it. I have my fingers crossed they both medal here and make the World team. Going by the way they both have been skating this season
(especially Mao) I don't think it will be Gold for Mao and Dai this year. JMO (I hope I am wrong though)

On the other hand Taka K has been putting up the big numbers with great skating (albeit he has been criticized for lack of excitement in his programs which does not seem to bother the judges) He scored 87 and change without the almighty Quad. He may be the future for Japan heading into Worlds and the next Olympics.

This is the first time this season that I like Kosuka SP.

Would you mind kindly translating what coach said to skaters if you have time? Thank you so much.

It seems Daisuke is still affected by the collision.
He didn't say so as always but this time his coach Utako Nagamitsu spoke out "Although he never says so... He couldn't practice much. Please give the body, he use to be before the GPF, back to him. "

I try,but I don't think I have enough English skill to translate them.
    Here we go.
Yuzuru- Focus on your program.Stay calm until the end and don't be panic. Let's go!

Koz-Come on,have a confident and skate bravely.Show a lot of audience your performance. Sit up straight and good luck! (pat his back) Mr. Sato's cute

    Found Nobu's,too.
