Yay, Brian won, although Almodio beat him by a hair in the FS. Any reports?
Terribly low score for Canac/Bonheur, 132.60. It's like what the best skaters get just for the Free Skating. What's their problems? Pair elements or jumps?
OK, sorry, fine. I do hope they will improve and wish them all luck. They are the best pair France have now, right? I just wondered what they have the most difficulties with in their new partnership. Like if they land their side-by-side-jumps but haven't yet managed to do the lifts, throws etc
Was Alban third? I can't find any updated results
Congrats to Brian on his 7th National Title!
And his skating is coming along just fine, thank you, all is looking well so far.
Skating clean is always the most desireable imho, there's nothing like seeing someone complete a 6/7/8 triple program without a hitch; no falls, 3turns, stepouts/fallouts, hand(s) down, etc. Yet that said, difficulty has to be accounted for as well. The ideal scenario is the skater that can skate a clean program with the most difficult elements; a win-win situation all around.![]()
