    Thumbs up Computer Error Messages

Here are 16 actual error messages seen on computer screens in Japan.
Aren't these better than, "your computer has performed an illegal operation?"

    The Web site you seek
    cannot be located,
    but countless more exist.

    Chaos reigns within.
    Reflect, repent, and reboot.
    Order shall return.

    Program aborting:
Close all that you have worked on.
    You ask far too much.

    Windows NT crashed.
I am the Blue Screen of Death.
    No one hears your screams.

    Yesterday it worked.
    Today it is not working.
    Windows is like that.

    Your file was so big.
    It might be very useful.
    But now it is gone.

    Stay the patient course.
Of little worth is your ire.
    The network is down.

    A crash reduces
    your expensive computer
    to a simple stone.

    Three things are certain:
    Death, taxes and lost data.
    Guess which has occurred..

    You step in the stream,
but the water has moved on.
    This page is not here.

    Out of memory.
We wish to hold the whole sky,
    but we never will.

    Having been erased,
    the document you're seeking
    must now be retyped.

    Serious error.
    All shortcuts have disappeared.
    Screen. Mind. Both are blank.

    This one is my favorite.

I like the one I've seen somewhere, "You've reached the end of the Internet." I've tried to find it, and found some more elaborate versions of it:

    http://gateway.ca.k12.pa.us/cahs/eoti.html
    http://www.swlamall.com/caution.htm

    http://www.webnme.com/endoftheinternet.html

This one's great (but you have to wait till it stops writing to you, the server, that is, lol):
    http://www.agentz.com/eoti.html

"Congratulations, you've wasted so much time web surfing
that you finally reached the *End of the Internet*.
    [...]
Do you want to start surfing from the
beginning of the World Wide Web
    *AGAIN*
    *sigh*
Man, I'm so depressed I could just cry."

LOL! I agree with Windspirit, the "Blue Screen of Death" is definitely the right description. My old computer used to bring that horrible blue screen up all of the time...AAGHH!

Those are funny !! My favorite ones were:

    Windows NT crashed.
I am the Blue Screen of Death.
    No one hears your screams.

    Chaos reigns within.
    Reflect, repent, and reboot.
    Order shall return.

Oh how well I'm familiar with computers crashing.
