Weaver/Poje BETTER BRING IT
I watched P/I fd live at SC, and boy it was beautiful. I thought it wouldn't be easy to make it better. They proved me wrong. They have effortless/floating quality about their skate, which is a bit lacking in Ralph/Hills. I hear 92.
Asher Hill doesn't look happy.

W/P should be happy. They've improved this program (they made the middle section flow better for one thing). Couple bobbles on the linking-movement and clearly they felt the tension of the close race.

What are PJ and Josee takling about? It's Moulin Rouge for crying out loud!! There's supposed to be some tension there and not as carefree as the SD. I thought they came back from the stumble really well.
In the KnC, Poje wished everyone at US Nationals luck. Love the little moments like that.

I see why Tessa and Scott didn't want to compete here before they are really ready. This competition is world championship level.
I really didn't care for that and I usually like Chris Dean's stuff. They were also really tight in places too.

Okay, this program is punishingly difficult. Everything is designed such that ANY flaws come out more obviously (twizzles). The advantage is that where they excel PCS wise gives them a bigger point gain than W/P.
I'd give it to C/P. The judges kept it close but agreed.
that was bogus, Sorry, I had W & P over C & P. The judges gave the nod because of the GPF as I knew they would. Did the same last year when they sent them to the Olympics despite Vanessa falling in the FD. Un real.
C&P are definitely an overrated team. It is hilarious there is anyone who thinks they can medal at Worlds this year even with V/M now certain to skate. And I agree Weaver & Poje should have won.
