I guess it's safe to say GACHINSKI is going to World Championships.

OMG, Adrian is in 15th place! I totally didn't expect that he'd finish that low...

Really? His LP is stronger than his sp, all I want from these championships is for Brian to get a medal, that iss I have ever wanted.[/QUOTE]

It's only 3.32 points between Gachinski in 3rd and Brian in 7th.

Wow, that's gonna be interesting in the LP! The first seven all still have good chances to medal, I wouldn't predict anything but I would love for Tomas to win and Michal to come in second

Me too, I'd love it if Tomas won and Michal got the silver medal^^
And I hope Van der Perren gets the bronze!
I personally dislike Gachinski and Joubert...

I saw Florent Amodio's SP and a few other men online. Can't say I am impressed at all by any of them. It would seem European men are really going to have a tough time even making into the Final Group at Worlds in the Free Skate with all those Canadian, Japanese and American men.

I'm just sad for Brian. I wish he didn't come.

It's amazing that KVDP is still hanging there!

    Here is the protocol: http://www.isuresults.com/results/ec..._SP_Scores.pdf

Artur didn't get credit for a spin. Can anyone please explain why?

I see that Adrian's 4T was UR. Moreover, he didn't have a combination, so that cost him dearly.

Amodio's SP score felt like the judges had to give somebody, at least one person, a half decent mark for the day. Aside from the wrong edge on the Flip, the skate was frantic and chaotic. More specifically, his use of the edge in the step sequence was below average with quite a bit of upper body movements but as though he was walking on the ice or flat edge almost. He didn't flow very well. Placement of his three jump elements back to back where the first and second jump elements were landed in the exact same corner on the ice shows poor use of ice surface. And there really isn't much in-between elements - from a transition standpoint, he hasn't mastered yet what linked the elements together as one piece, perhaps a little too much emphasis on the showmanship. Granted, the charisma and commitment to his role is eye catching, I can't help but noticing from a technical standpoint, it is disappointing this is the best SP at the Europeans this year? Either the other European men are having a really off day or there is something wrong with the skating programs in Europe.

I hope other European men step up because don't expect Amodio to get another 78 points SP if he skate like this in Tokyo. As it stands, this skate wouldn't make Top 3 at the Japanese Nationals or Top 2 at Canadians and we haven't even seen the Americans yet.
