Spoke to David Raith (Exec Director) and Pat St. Peter (Pres) while in Greensboro about the possibility of the US getting a Senior B International. They said it is already in the beginning stages probably for year 2012. Lake Placid Dance event and Liberty most likely first candidates.

Me, I'm happy about Liberty and LPIDC, the two competitions I can sometimes get to!

Thanks for posting this, KKonas. I wonder if Skate Detroit is on the short list.

Don 't know. I was the one who brought up Lake Placid and Liberty and they didn't disagree, as it seems likely since they already have international skaters in these long standing competitions.
However, Marina Zoueva has been trying to get a dance international in Canton, and since there are many dance teams already there, it might also be on the list. David just said that he should be able to make an announcement re Senior B Internationals in the US in 18 months.
