According to the USFSA board, Vise/Kole is now a Pairs competitor for the US along with Varraux/Pelletier.
Vise/Kole was the first alternate, so that means one of the teams that qualified has dropped out. Does anyone know who they're replacing?

Congratulation to Evan and Lina
I'm really surprised that Miki is second, because she won many of her competition...
but everything can change tommorow...
Good luck to everybody!
So it will come down to Evan vs. Andrei for men.
Big WOW for Lina -- to win over both Japanese ladies!
:( for American pairs (though not surprising).
Will be an interesting showdown between the Russians and the Hungarians in FD. I can't believe the have both ODs and CDs on the same day!
Miki ANDO, Jessica DUBE / Bryce DAVISON, Nora HOFFMANN / Attila ELEK won Junior Grand Prix FinalCongratulations to all medalists, you are the future of figure skating...
Now it's time for men... Evan, win it!!!
It's my 10th post
HURRAH!!!

WOW, Lycasek won men´s event!!! Congratulations!!!
I have to say that the writer (Kathleen Bangs) of this Yagudin article
http://www.goldenskate.com/forum/sho...&threadid=3472
looks rather stupid now... Instead of promoting Yagudin, she should have written about an US skater, a skater who was definetely seen as a very strong contender. Evan was the second last year.
BTW, I wonder if choosing a famous skater for a coach is really such a good idea for a skater, mediawise, I mean? I personally think that a skater and her/his performances should get more media attention and a coach should be in the background. Having Yagudin as a coach might make matters very different though, LOL.

Yeah, GOOOOOOOOO MIKI!!!!
If I'm not mistaken, she now has won the JGPF title twice, has tied Shizuka Arakawa with the most Junior National Titles won by a Japanese woman ever, and is the proud owner of a bronze & silver medal at Junior Worlds! Now she just needs to complete her collection with a gold at Jr. Worlds come March 2004.
Peace & Love, Nadine

Jaana - I think Griazev is coached by Alexei, and wasn't he first last year and Evan was second?
I see Evan as America's best hope in the future. He's got it all but the almighty quad.
