Now , if we can only get to see this sometime soon...;)
Thrilled for W/P..V/M don't seem to have accumulated too much rust:)..D/W..darned slippery ice !..but no real disaster..Shibs ..you know their FD is their real strength...C/P that SD has never worked for me, not really waltzy enough...C/Z ..a four point lag is not exactly shabby.. On to Tomorrow !

Lots of level 4 on the GW part! The scores seem a little inflated, I mean, D/W have a mistake and they still get a SB. I can't wait to see the performances! I'm very happy for V/M and the Shibs!!

The lead is more substantial this time and W/P actually stumbled during the SD at GPF yet they still placed ahead of C/P. FD will be interesting. Don't count the Shibutani out yet, they are in hunt for a medal as well.

The Shibs' performance was noticeably more cautious than what they did at Nationals. It's understandable that they were nervous, considering that this is a big Senior competition. I though there was a slight slip up during the GW sequence #2. I could be wrong, though. It would be interesting to see the levels they got.

Protocols are up.

V/M got level fours on everything but the Non touching step sequence. They lost marks on GOE compared to D/W.

W/P got level fours on everything.

C/P got two level thress (one GW, other was the non touching step sequence).

Huh. Those are some interesting scores. Seems like the judges wanted to go with D/W, but Meryl's mistake killed that option. Weren't V/M usually dominating D/W through their superior PCS? Have D/W ever won the PCS mark against V/M before? Not that any of that must mean anything, V/M obviously come from a severe injury and are probably still a bit rusty.

ETA: Thank you ImaginaryPogue for the prompt answer! :)

One judge gave V/M 5's in EVERYTHING. Wonder which judge that was?

I've just been puzzling over that. That judge had V/M down with the Chinese couples :rolleye:

So I checked out carefully the protocols, the judge who marked V/M in the 5's, put them below D/W, W/P, S/S, C/P, and C/Z in PCS.

So someone is REALLY MAD that V/M have not retired:scowl:

The 5s are a complete joke! But it is very important to remember that judge number 7 on V/M scorecard may not be judge number 7 on D/W scorecard for example. So we don't really know who gave them the 5s.

ILoveFigures, that's true, BUT the list of fives is lower than anything any other judge gave the next five. So even if it doesn't line-up, that judge still definitely gave them lower marks than the teams herios mentioned.
