It appears that only 4 of the teams that have skated have qualified for the LP. So it looks like only the top 16 go on to the LP. (There are 19 teams listed for pairs)

The frequent buffering is really making it hard for me to stay awake. :scowl: If this is the best feed we can find for the rest of the competition, it's not going to be very fun.

Hard to look past the Chinese winning. I am a bit surprised to see that the top 2 beat the Russian on PCS. Their Asturias programme is one of my favourites of the year (senior or junior), they really capture the feel and mood of the music. There is a bit of a gap between the top 3 and the rest. Little bit disappointed to see the Czechs down in 9th, they really impressed at the europeans, althought they are less than 5 points of 4th place. Hopefully they can move up.

I didn't see the last group, but I was really impressed with Takahashi/Tran. They are so smooth over the ice (and along with Stolbova/Klimov) have some of the best choreographed pairs programs this year. I know S/H are the favorites...but I don't really agree with them having the highest PCS, from what I've seen in the past.

Kladeclova/Bidar are unlucky that the throw for juniors is the 3T or 2T - as their 3TTh is inconsistent/nonexistant - compared to senior comps where they can do their more consistent and higher scoring 3S or 3F. Otherwise I really enjoyed them. She presents very well and they have a lot of musicality. I too hope they can move up - and if they skate to their potential in the free, I think they can. Their PCS is very encouraging.

Joshua Reagan fell on teh 2A and his boot came undone, so they had to stop. She seems really tall for him and tall for pairs overall.

Yes, well I was surprised that T/T didnt beat S/H in PCS. They seem to have a more mature and polished style.
