    If you were following my live blog, my computer is really having troubles with the SBS stream and I'm not getting anything but a white screen anymore. I'm going to try and use a different computer to live blog the final group.

    Notes on top 2 thus far with 8 pairs remaining-- very incompete notes, as this stream sucks.

    Kadlecova/ Bidar - CZE- they did two throw triples... eeked out the landings with maybe a hand down on one... They lost ground by only doing a 2Lo-2Lo sequence and 2S as their SBS jumps. They had trouble getting one of their lifts up-- he had to muscle it up and she wasn't able to do the second position.

    Andrews/Leduc- USA- fine double twist; fall throw 3T; SBS 2A- hers was two footed and I think underrotated; throw 2Lo solid; SBS 2F-2T-2Lo solid... I missed most of the program because of the buffering and couldn't even tell what elements they did until the replay. You need a lot of patience to watch this stream. lol.

    Ouch, the Russian pair VASILIEVA / SHEVCHUK had a ton of problems.... aborted lift, fall on SBS 3S, 2-fted SBS 3T... and another fall that I must have missed due to this lovely stream buffering.

    JONES / GASKELL from Canada- SBS 2F- his free leg touched down; 2A- she had a big step out of it and missed the combo; throw 3S pretty nice, slightly pitched forward; first lift a little muscled up; I wish I knew what their other throw was- thanks stream! Their leg line isn't very good, but this has been the best pair so far.

    Nice skate from Cain and Reagan (USA), from what I could actually see. They are very similar in height, which hampers their twist and throws, but they pulled them off... She really fought for the first throw. SBS 3S- ok. SBS 2A-2A sequence, out of unison and really fought for that second one. I like her, she presents herself nicely for the most part, but she's very tall for pairs, which may not allow this to be a long partnership. They and their coaches are absolutely thrilled with their score (91) and the fact that they move into 1st. Lots of happiness in the K&C.

    wow the russian Pair did a really good job. Just a little stumble in her sbs 2ax, the rest was clean (if I watched everything between the stream cuts hahaha)

    If I'm not wrong the jumps were: sbs 3t2t2t, 2twist, 3throw lutz, 3throw sal, and sbs 2ax

    Stoblova/Klimov's throws are beautiful. Great throw 3F. Not a great catch on their 2twist, but they're a strong team.

    Takahashi/Tran- eeked out SBS 3S; high 2twist; hand down on throw 3S; SBS 2A- she fell; fine throw 3T Into 2nd behind the Russians.

    Purich/Schultz- CAN- SBS 3T- bad stumble out of it; 2A 2T sequence I think it was? very off unision; throw 3S and throw 3T fine. Into 4th.

    Sui/Han- She fell on SBS 2A; stumbles out of SBS 3T; 2-fted throw 4S ; good throw 3F; fine 3twist; They are so frantic in their choreography that she tripped herself towards the end of the program; Lift positions could have more stretch; 107 pts- good enough for 1st and the win.

    So the podium is CHN/RUS/JPN. The top USA team is about 20 pts behind that in 4th. A great finish for them, and with the other US team finishing 9th, they get 3 spots back for next year.

    Well, this podium is same as last year's, 1-2-3 then, 1-3-2 now. Kudos to Cain/Reagan for a highly respectable finish--with the US pairs finishing 4 + 9 = 13, does this mean USA gets 3 pairs for next year's Jr Worlds? (I will try to refrain from thinking too much about Sui/Han's true ages and what this podium should have been...)
