No 3+3 from Agnes.

I only saw the beginning and some replay, and I also thought she looked really slow.

I only saw Agnes's 3T-2T, 3Lo and layback and then my feed freezed again... Nice spins and jumps, but is she really as slow as it seems?

Silete: Only saw 3Lo, a spin and a 2A, all which looked good. I like her much better than Meite. I can't stand the vocal music, though.

ETA: FRom the replay, I see she also did 3F+2T. Good for her.

Very good score from Agnes, could only imagine what it would have been if she had done a 3/3 combo., would hazard to guess she would have tied with the Russians. :)

Great job from the American, now I await the other phenomenal American Christina Gao, whom blew me away as well at US Nationals with her 3/3!

She and Agnes are definitely the future of American Ladies skating, they are the only two that blew me away with their jumps at Nationals. Lol IIRC in fact I went bonkers over the two of them! :)^D

I just looove Adelina! She skated with the smile on her face and was so charming! I saw 3Lz-3T, 3Lo and her nice spins, hope to see the whole program on youtube soon

The bits I saw of Adelina - which were few and none were jumps - were really charming! Her kneebend is so good! She seemed to be selling her program and had a big smile. Score was 59.something, so maybe the 3T was UR?

So nice to hear she smiled today! That's the best part for me. She always looks so tense, sometimes tired, I was afraid it was the pressure! I'm very happy for her and very anxious to see her program.

Less than a point between her and Liza! Wow, there''s gonna be a tough fight tomorrow. Maybe Adelina got an "e" to her Lutz? If that's the case, things are not looking good for her, she has two 3Lz planned in her Lp. I really hope it was not the "e"

Wow. The Russian girls are really in another league today.

I feel like the default prediction going into the free is for a Russian sweep with the Americans, the Japanese, and Zijun nipping at their toes if one of the 3 falter.

My guess is the 3Lz+3T<. She's gotten the 3T marked down before and the 3Lz+3Lo is a more secure combo for her.

All I saw from Gao was a 3Lo and a much improved Biellman. Her basics look more labored than Sotnikova & Tuktamysheva.

I'm done, was quite nice to see that American Ladies come in the Top 6, which means they will skate in the final elite group.

Good job from Agnes, and great job from Christina! Now I await to watch their programs on youtube tomorrow.

All in all Jrs. doesn't rank high for me until they enter Seniors, especially Sr. International competitions. Until then I consider them subpar, doesn't matter what they do, they are not thee elite, especially the ones that haven't gone through puberty yet.

But it's skating, and does give one a glimpse into the future, for that I am grateful. :)

Good job girls!!!!! :)^)

And here's hoping your country was well represented. *cheers*

Now onto Keegan, et al. (;^)

And the final skater- Sila Saygi from Turkey... She has a cute personality on the ice. 2S-1T. 2A. Didn't see last jump... Doesn't qualify to the free skate, which has to hurt after placing 14th last year.

Sila Saygi (TUR) landing all the way in 26th pushing Ho Jung Lee (KOR) into the final qualifying spot of 24th.

Alexandra Najarro just misses qualifying for the FS by 1.08 points. Ouch, that has got to hurt for Canada.

A little off-topic, I think Liza will be a gorgeous lady! She looked a little bit sophisticated today, with her hair and make-up, she has gorgeous eyes, expression, and she is only 13(I've seen her live, you simply can't take your eyes of her)! She will be an authentic russian beauty, I'm sure.
