    Very sad. I have seen so many of her movies and she was terrific...my three favs being Cleopatra, Taming of the Shew and a Street car named desire.

    I think you mean Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, sillylionlove? (Also by Tennessee Williams, I believe.) Streetcar was another gorgeous woman, Vivien Leigh. But I agree with you about Cleopatra and Shrew. Golly, Richard Burton as Petruchio...unparalleled, with the world's most romantic voice and the electricity between him and Taylor. I'd add another Elizabeth classic movie: National Velvet. Even at twelve years old or so, she was radiant. And she never had an awkward adolescent phase. She went straight from child star to heartbreaker.
