So, am I reading the schedule right: the men's SP starts at 5:30 a.m. EDT tomorrow?
True, and I had the same thought but Ryan unfortunately also has the jitters problem. He only skated once this season and his FS at nationals wasn't the greatest. Still, here is hoping he will hold it together. If he does, I think he'll beat Javier. It'll be interesting to see if he'd been Kevin if both go clean. In some ways, the have similar weaknesses. Well, maybe not similar but it comes down to good quads when they land them and lowish PCS.
This Worlds has been scheduled for the Japanese fans to watch at their prime time.
It looks like the Russian broadcast will start at 5am EDT though.

It's in Russian but I saw a post on fsu that translated it.
I didn't know that! How cool. I thought the times were a bit funny but now it all makes sense.
I'd have to get up at 4:30 where I am to see Dornbush and Miner and probably Ryan ... not going to happen. Maybe I'll still catch the last couple of flights.
Dai seems to be a good spot. I guess if Chan and Kozuka and some others kick butt before him he'll be feeling the pressure. But better than being last like Oda.
