Love the different interpretation on the Mambo to Takahashi's. Very clean 3A. A step out on the 3T on the 3F+3T (was worried with the toe pick on the 3F). A completed 3Lz. His ability to project a character is fantastic, though his footwork was a bit static and the ending spin was a bit slow. However, his performance is always warm, quirky, and colorful; here, kind of The Joker doing the Mambo. He is aware of his hand and body lines, and that's rare in skating.

You guys newed some music lessons. Javier's first music cut is not a mambo, it is one of the most well known rhumba rythms. Takahashi's mambo is his second musical cut of his SP, he has a rhumba-mambo medley.

I'm not really a fan of Florent, but I have to admit this was excellent.

Beautiful skating from Florent. I love his fighter face. The bar just got raised.

Boy, does Morozov like him or what?

    Go, Brian!

    Florent Amodio

Good run-out from 3A. Good 3Lz+3T and 3F. First half of the program could be more choreographically interesting than just jumps and a spin. Strong footwork, though it gets a little sloppy near the end. It was solid technical display, so it will score high, but I wasn't moved by his interpretation of the music. Will score high.
