I'm sure Plushy will get the ok to skate Sochi. But will he change his mind after seeing the high level quads shown at 2011 Worlds? He will have to look closely at 2012 Worlds as well. If he skates 2013 Worlds as a preliminary to Sochi will he be ready?

As for Dai's quads, jumps in general, I dunno... it must not be easy as he gets older. But what is Plushy now, like 30?
Plush will be 31 in 2014.
Chan's quads could get like all +2's on GOE what if next season Plushenkos quads are all like -1 or -2 or worse Ur-ed a litle! That would be bad but if Plushenko did deliver a quad loop he could regain some points. And I believe his 3A was still one of the best of the 2009-2010 season.
Evgeni was asked about Chan after the worlds. During the arena before the Lp they asked him (russian tv) who would win and he said: Chan.

Chan's program is excellent, complex, Chan found his image, he had beautiful costumes, emotionally skated ... only on that way - you can win.

That's ok. I'm always amazed in any sport when a winner is well above the average age. Not many can win, but many can make a good showing. Go Plush; Go Joubert, Go Takahashi.

Back in 2002 SLC Olympics China had 3 spots for men (how they got 3 was beyond me....), Anthony Liu became a Australian citizen to represent them instead of always getting bunched up with everyone else on team China.
