Tragic event that affected so many people in your own country...
I guess some people took it harder than others.
It's how you use that emotional energy. Some get motivated by it and others get down with it.

IF you asked me a couple of months ago if I would be cheering on Alicia I would have told you that you must be huffing paint fumes. However, she has proven herself capable able. Most likely because of her we will send 3 ladies next worlds. So regardless of how she skates, ( I would like to see a triple triple of some kind and also hope she will include a Salchow in her program. )
Besides her spins (no one is better) I like two things. First when she skates well she does not collapse into tears of joy beyond belief. Very classy. Also, I like her foot work. While everyone else is flapping their arms all over the place and trying to fit as many turns as they can from one side of the rink to the other. Alicia incorporates as man variations on the turns in both directions in a nice even placed rate that makes her stand out. I mean the opposite of this would be Rachael Flatt who look more like she was having a epileptic seizure or tweaking on meth. If Alicia skates well regardless of how she places. Then she has earned my respect. Also I wish she would teach Yuna how to do a lay back spin.

CCTV-5 broadcast has started, commentary is just enough, not overly spammy during the program

    Irina MOVCHAN (UKR)

    SP: 23th
Music: Verano Porteno by Astor Piazzolla
    SB: 75.96

    3Lz - stepout
    3S
    3T+2T+2T
    FCSp - a bit slow
    2A - turnout on landing
    ChSp
    3S+2T
    2T
    1A
    LSp
    SlSt
CCoSp - shaky on transition to Biellmann, losing speed

Ok, but not enough energy and speed for this kind of music. Hardly any choreography.

Score: 77.47, new SB, total 123.15 and into 1st (for now)

I am watching on http://www.traditio.com/ but can't seem to make video full screen. Can someone tell me how or can your recommend another free site where I can. I feel like I am Brenda Kerrigan with my face pressed up to the monitor.

    Elena GLEBOVA EST

    SP 20th place
    2-time Olympian

    3Lz swingy landing
    3Lp fall
    2A-2T
    2A step-out (unorthodox 2A technique)
    Sraight Line Step Sequence
    Spirals
    3S
    3T step-out
    3S step-out

I like her speed throughout the program, simple step sequence.

Elena Glebova (EST) improved costume, and she's back to being brunette!

    SP: 20th
Music: Capriccio Espagnol by Nikolai Rimski-Korsakov
    SB: 85.42

    3Lz
    3Lo - hard fall
    2A+1T
2A - crooked in air, stepout - she has a weird 2A tecnique, no step-up
    LSp
    SlSt
    ChSp
    3S
    3T - stepout
    3S - stepout, hand down, should've been a combo
    FSSp
    CCoSp

    Sad to see her struggle...

    Score: 78.50, total 124.78 and into 1st

This is what I'm watching on TV...for as long as it lasts. Haven't checked to see if they are live streaming. I can't seem to get a feed that doesn't freeze up every 10 seconds.

    Chinese Stream (mandarin/ putonghua)

If your country is geoblocked from CCTV's site,

You can watch via SopCast software (google to download).

And use this as the watch link,
    sop://broker.sopcast.com:3912/6002
