Really cute thing just happened: Someone threw a GIGANTIC teddy bear on the ice, and the little girl skating over to pick it up was nearly toppled over by its weight, another girl had to come over to share the weight. It was a moment of d'awww after a skating boo boo.
It was a complex programme, being a medley of Chaplin melodies of varying rhythmic patterns. I think it was designed to showcase versatility and/or as an homage to Chaplin.
what's with the Russians & the long red dresses?
ETA: I can't watch this girl. She needs to go to a hospital. I have never seen a skinnier skater.

There were visible stumbles but all depends on judges. Though I hihgly doubt this panel can be forgetful towards Europeans
Their short dance was better.
Lol PJ Kwong on the CBC feed just commented on how good their twizzles were as the replay showed them going completely out of synch.
They score about 94 and fall behind W/P into 3rd. It seems W/P will get their desired top 5 finish. Amazing for them :D
