I'm actually writing mine up, but a question to toss out there: there were programs earlier this season that I didn't care for but as soon as they were clean, I fell in love with. Is that common for you, or do you tend know what your favourite programsa re before you actually see them performed "perfectly".

Just off the top of my head I liked Chan's SP more than his LP. Sorry, but I would rather have seen him skate to Carmen, Scheherazade, or just about anything other than Phantom.

I liked Mirai's LP but not her SP.

I liked both of Caro's programs and even with mistakes thought the effect was beautiful.

I loved Kozuka's LP but thought his SP was substandard.
I did not care at all for Amodio's LP.

Gachinsky's LP music was an interesting choice . I don't think he is very musical yet so picking a difficult piece and having him "react" to it as opposed to" interpreting" it was a clever idea (or more likely accidental ;)).

Alissa had a beautiful LP and I liked the SP of Tomas alot.

My thoughts are all subjective and not meant to reflect what judges would consider as the best.

I wasn't really taken by any of the singles skaters' programs. They weren't all terrible by any means, but none of them make me want to watch again. I really did like Jeremy Abbott's gala program from Nationals.

Virtue/Moir FD, an absolute brilliant program with a new style of them. I hope that they will keep it next year.

Kozuka LP, incredible quality of skating without any" manner".

Chan LP, a virtuos, ballet program, figure skating at its best.

Savchenko/Szolkowy LP, finesse, technique, atmosphere.

Miki Ando SP. very light, airy, athletic.

For now:
Alissa's GPF LP
Alissa's nationals LP
Caro's GPF LP
Caro's GPF LP
Alena's world LP
Patrick Chan's nationals LP
Patrick's world LP
Shawn Sawyer's nationals LP
Yuna's world LP
V/M worlds FD
S/S nationals LP
Jeremy's LP in theory. It was such a great program. We never got to see it at it's best.

Oh also, though it's not the best I've seen I did really like Kira's SP. I was a sucker for it.

It was fun to watch Mirai be near perfect at 4CC but I thought her choreo was just good, not great. Actually, that goes for her LP. I really didn't much like her SP. Alena had much more fun with that music and the flower thing in the middle of Mira's just looked weird.

Kawaguti/Smirnov LP, NO CONTEST. Too bad it was not skated cleanly on international scene.

**ABSOLUTE BEST NO QUESTION** -- Jason Brown's LP at U.S. Nationals

Then, in no particular order (aside from separating by discipline):

*Daisuke Takahashi's SP at NHK
*Daisuke Takahashi's LP at NHK
*Nobunari Oda's LP at Worlds (if only he paid attention to the music a bit more and had more expression! Excellent program)
*Ross Miner's LP
*Florent Amodio's LP before the music change at Worlds
*Kanako Murakami's SP before the styling change at Worlds
*Kanako Murakami's LP
*Alissa Czisny's LP (Skate Canada is the best version artistically)
*Mao Asada's LP at Japanese Nationals (ONLY that version, most definitely)
*Carolina Kostner's LP at Worlds (ONLY this version, though a bit less vehemently than with Mao's program)
*Yu-Na Kim's LP
*The perfect music cut for Kiira Korpi's LP (choreography is good too but I have visions of making it better)
*Virtue/Moir's FD
*Kawaguti/Smirnov's LP, especially at Europeans
*Volosozhar/Trankov's SP
*Savchenko/Szolkowy's LP at Worlds
