I know we have a couple of Yuna's threads already, but I thought her show deserved a new thread for folks to post links, videos and reports from the show. Of course any live feeds would be appreciated too!!!

Saw the show yesterday. Great show all around and Yuna absolutely rocked the house with her FEVER. I have never seen someone just melt the ice and the crowd like that like Yuna did yesterday. My favorite EX by far!

Report from the first night..

- Opening number was a lot of fun with disco and retro look a la '70s and some '60s (Yu-Na's dress).

- I liked both of Jeremy's programs. His skating is so smooth.

- Crowd had good laughs with P&B's Tarzan program. I thought it was kind of silly but the crowd loved it.

- Both of Min-Jeong's programs were fun teen pieces. Good to see her in good spirit despite the recent injury.

- I was again impressed by Hae-Jin's speed and skating.

- Z&Z's second program was to a latest K-Pop ballad, and the crowd loved it.

- Stephane's new Don't Stop the Music was fabulous. As usual he had tremendous upper body movements and great feel for the music, and received thunderous ovation.

- Brian drew an equal amount of response with his footwork in the Rise program. Crowd went nuts.

- Ilia electrified the audience with his energy and enthusiasm. His jumps were huge.

- Alissa was even prettier in person. Her skating was so beautiful and lyrical. And those spins!

- S&Z's first program was to a beautiful Chinese song, the second was Turandot. This great pair skates with such authority and utter command. As they skated toward the climactic end, the crowd went ecstatic.

- And Katia.. It was the first time I saw her live. She still had this magic, and she had the eyes pinned on her with the way she skated with such grace and, at the same time, power. I found her a good dancer too with a lot of finesse, even in her moves to K-Pop music during group numbers. They loved her.

- The Fever program showed a new, sultry(!) Yu-Na. She's so versatile, and while I felt it could use a bit more polishing with mileage, the way she played to the mood and nuances in the program with her subtle, understated movements, was amazing. The same quality was abundant in spades even in her little dancing moves during the K-Pop group numbers too. And, although I've never considered her cover-girl pretty, in person and on the ice she was so dashing and eye-catching, it was unreal.

- The way David Wilson designed this show, overall I felt he catered it for young audience, and it was a lot of fun.

Thank you all the skaters and staff for the wonderful show!

Some tidbits..

- I saw Peter Oppegard, on his way to the arena, being mobbed by a big crowd asking for pictures and autographs. I guess he's getting familiar with all this by now.

- Karen and Peter were in front-row seats with their little girls. Karen looked very beautiful and tall in person. The girls danced to the skaters' finale and curtain call. It was so cute! :)

- Only complaint I had was the sound in the arena. It was built in '80s for 1988 Olympics and the indoor PA system sounded so harsh and lacked definition, it couldn't properly play the fine beat and nuances in the program music.

^Thanks for that summary lowtherlore.

Can you tell us what jumps Ilia Kulik, Brian Joubert and Stephane Lambiel did? I remember there was a little quad competition between Brian and Stephane at the LA show last summer.

I don't recall exactly, it gets blurry in a hurry after all the excitment. But nobody went for a quad or 3a this time, and overall jumps were not sharp in the first night. But it didn't mar my enjoyment at all, and the crowd didn't seem to care. They were so excited to see the skaters and support their performances.

As with previous Yu-Na shows, David Wilson and the skaters again did a superb job with the group numbers.
