Highest Total Scores of The Season

so the GP assignments will follow the new ranking (the one that starts in July) right?

In these several years that I have followed, the Announcement says, for instance in 09/10, like:
"Skaters/couples with an ISU World Standing placement of 1 – 24 (after season 2008/2009) and
skaters/couples with seasonal best scores in the top 24 (for season 2008/2009) who do not hold an ISU
World Standing placement of 1 – 24 will be guaranteed one (1) event if they do not otherwise meet the
criteria listed in categories 2.1 or 2.2 above."

So I think yes. When the feds make their draws for the GPs, even in June, the new standings can be calculated as I posted above.

ETA: Or does that "after" mean the list as of late June within the former season???

I think the GP selection will be based on the ranking as it is now, with points from season 10-11 included and before the new season starts. Then 08-09 will be dropped to make room for 11-12 wihich will starts with zero for everyone who then earns his/her points for the new season .

Well we didn't have to wait till July 1st to get this:

So this is the ranking "after" the 2010/11 season.

Obviously I miscalculated Akiko's points and sigrid's list was the right answer.

Now I notice that even when you take away the B comp points from Akiko, she places in between Yuna and Alissa, 3 ranks higher than Mao.

So without the Bs the top dozen goes like this, which gets a bit closer to the Highest Total Scores List.
