Brian and the Matrix again. If he hadn't said he would like to go for Sochi, this would have sounded like a retirement announcement. Kind of like Stojko and Dragon in 2002, leaving with his favorite programme.
I'm not too exited, but it will most certainly not be the same choreography as in 2004 and at least he likes working with David Wilson. At this point in his career he has absolute jester's licence. (He's saving the Mambo for 2014)

It's a rule that definitely should exist!
The rule doesn't exist but it should.
Judges don't like to be bored. If it's at all like the previous program (or the music cut like that) he may suffer in PCS

I hope he didn't injure himself after that fall on the opening quad. It looked like it hurt :(
The repeat use of music seems so much less taboo amongst singles skaters than it is in dance. Not only that, the use of "other great skater's signature pieces" is almost so much less of a barrier in singles. For example, Rachael Flatt's use of East of Eden sure raised eye brows. Ironically that worked to her advantage to use such moving music. I think it would cause a scandal if a dance team tried to use Bolero until ? Probably until everyone alive during 1984 loses their memory![]()
