That is odd. On the other hand, perhaps the Chinese federation has not decided whom to send yet?

There are no Pairs and Ice Dance in this event. China is probably waiting till the deadline to decide on the skaters to send. I don't think they would not have any entry including the Juniors. I'm a little surprised Japan is not sending more skaters though.

Misha has gotten a lot of attention but I feel he's more showman than competitor. At his age (20), he should have done a lot better to indicate his competitiveness and elite possibilities. D10 is more promising.

Junior ladies looks deep field.According to the latest protocol, those from Korea have 5 triples(perhaps Kim tried to 3T-3T),Hinano has 5triples plus
2A-3T and Ayane has 3 high quality jumps up to Lo.
If China send Zijun to this competetion, what a gorgeous members!

China's "new hope" Yan Han landed a 4T (+1.0) in the FS.
Jr men's winner Jin Boyang skated very well including 3axels.
Kim Heajin's 3F-3Lo in the FS is ratified, although she received no plus GOE for any of her jumps.
Isobe attempted 3F-3T< in the SP.

I'm impressed! As a big fan of Yu-na's, I can't help but be interested in the skaters who will follow her footsteps in Korea. Hae-Jin delivered a 7 triple program with a ratified 3F-3Lo and no edge calls or DGs. She might be Korea's hope for Pyongchang 2018

Kim haejin doesn't look like Kim the second. She's good at loops and can't earn GOE on even "clean" jumps. It's more like Rachel Flatt II.
