Does anyone have any idea when Nebelhorn entries will be announced? I'm wondering who will get chosen from U.S. and Canada.

I've looked online and haven't seen anything. I'm assuming the entries will be announced sometime at the end of August. Maybe?

Wow, great roster - especially in mens and ladies, but also pairs! Competition is going to be tough. Does anyone know if it will be streamed/broadcasted anywhere? Or do we have to rely on home videos on Youtube?
The line-up looks great..last year's competition had only 13 entries in ladies' and this year 27 competitors. Do some pull out or is this just an exceptionally huge field in ladies?
Some will probably pull out, but the large number of competitors is without a doubt the result of:
- The cutdown of entries to the senior Grand Prixs. Low level and up-and-coming skaters will have to compete at Senior B's.
- New teams have to gain the minimum score, so they can compete at the senior Grand Prix.
- Skaters can gain ranking points and will be higher on the substitution list for the senior Grand Prix.
...also, Senior B's is good preparation for the senior Grand Prix.
Hoping that there will be videos up on youtube of the men's and ladies' events. Really want to see if Yuzuru will do quads since he's been doing a few in shows. Excited to see Mirai again.
I am happy she's competing again too. It shows that she and Frank are serious about getting her in proper competitive form for her two GP events. And b/c they are back to back events, she won't have time to rework choreography or make any major changes, so they need all of the feedback and practice they can get now.
Mirai does well the more she competes. I think getting her nerves out of the way with these summer competitions will help her be more prepared when the season officially starts. I really want to see her re-insert that 3lz-3t into her programs. She's fully capable and it'd be something to really set her apart from the other senior ladies. Can you imagine Mirai with a solid 3lz-3t?
That's one thing I've always admired about Yu-Na: she consistently did her 3-3s without question. In addition to ability, I think it was her commitment to doing them. It was never a question of whether or not she'd add it in; you knew she was going to do it just like you knew she'd do her 2A in the SP. Mirai needs that kind of commitment as well...
I guess we'll see what happens...
Hermann & Hermann have come out of retirement or have completed their army time , nice to see them back she is such a nice delicate skater, good for them.
As of yesterday, Brian Joubert has been added to the list of entries (possibly other skaters, too?). If he does compete at Nebelhorn, I believe it'll be his first-ever senior B.
Good to see Laura Lepisto there too, hope she has recovered well and has a great season. A friend of mine saw her practices and her artistry is to die for, overall skating WOW!!![]()
Sorry, Lepisto is no longer on the list.
Does anyone know if there will be someone on goldenskate covering the event or putting up videos?
