Just wanted to say I was glad the face of the skater doing the leg wrap was blurred in the photo so that we cannot easily identify the skater. There's no need to embarrass anybody!

;) I know who it is. I'd recognize that "Capriccio Espagnol" dress from anywhere..

Me, too!! I wondered what in the world that move was called. Annet Poetsch of East Germany included that move in some of her programs, and I always expected her to fall flat on her back. Amazingly, she always held the position and continued on with her routine.

Just found a photograph of Annet Poetszch performing a cantilever during her competitive days. How in the world she managed to achieve and hold that position and not fall on her back is truly amazing. Wow, talk about a balancing act.

Looks like I already commented on this! Oh, well. :biggrin:
