Aldridge and Eaton, are dancing to Michael Flatley’s, “Lord of the Dance”. The Russian Team of, Victoria Sinitsina and Ruslan Zhiganshin, portraying the Phantom of the Opera, from the famed L’Opéra Garnier in Paris, France. The Ukrainian Team of, Maria Nosulia and Evgen Kholoniuk, performing their Pink Panther routine - reminiscence of the famous French Detective “Jacques Clouseau”. Canadian’s Nicole Orford and Thomas Williams portraying Scarlet and Rhett from Gone With The Wind, and the Czech Republic’s Team of Karolina Prochazkova and Michal Ceska skating to soundtrack from the Hit Broadway Play “Chicago”. Yiyi Zhang and Nan Wu from China skated the last two years in the JGP Series and could be a contender. Have not heard of the two French Teams. Shari Koch and Christian Nuchtern of Germany have skated JGP before and to Irish Folk (Bill Whelan’s Riverdance) Not sure about some of the other teams.
Eighteen Teams in all, - should be great entertainment, and a really good competition – Let’s hope everyone has a good skate, no one gets hurt, and all the kids enjoy beautiful Innsbruck. Thank You to ISU for videotaping and uploading to You Tube.
