Four continents championships

I am so happy for the Four Continents Championships, it has truly become one of the major ISU Championships in the calendar year ( Worlds, 4CC, Europeans and GPF) and I am glad it has fulfilled it's purpose.

The top skaters in the world are now generally from this area and it has become an increasing important event as each year progresses.

I was sad before because a lot of the top skaters skipped the event but now they are all in the event. It has now become for me the pre-worlds. The crucial victory that would cement their status for the World championships. A lot of the memorable performances of late have been performed here which really makes me happy. I do hope I would be able to watch this event live.

In the resumes of Angela Nikodinov, Tatiana Malinina, Jennifer Kirk, Katy Taylor, Yukina Ota and 3x Champion Fumie Suguri, they can boast winning one of the major championships, though during that time they did not have the same significance given to it today.
