I think Chan's a lock, unless he withdraws or is injured
The only one close from this list is Takahashi, and he hasn't been healthy.
But I'd like to see Kevin win one before he retires, and this is his last chance! He deserved the win at Skate America, IMO.

    Kevin VAN DER PERREN
    Elladj BALDE
    Patrick CHAN
    Andrei ROGOZINE
    Daisuke TAKAHASHI
    Denis TEN
    Javier FERNANDEZ
    Alexander MAJOROV
    Ross MINER
    Adam RIPPON

None the less, it looks like a really fun competition. I like so many of these skaters!

    WHEN does KVDP retire?
It will be the end of an era.

I didn't say how it will happen, just that it will! I leave the specifics to the skating gods.

Kevin will never retire. 20+ years from now he and his kids will be competing at the same events. How's that for a prediction? (after all, the thread title does not include the year!)

According to Wikipedia, Elizaveta Tuktamysheva is only 14 years old. What are the age eligibility requirements for the Senior Grand Prix events?

No worlds?! I wonder if his wife (Jenna McCorkell) will do the same thing, or keep going since she's a bit younger than him.

    I hate making predictions, myself...I'm always worried I'll be a jinx ( buck-buck-buckaaaw ). But I love reading everyone else's.

I'd like to remind everyone that skatebuzz will be livestreaming practices beginning Thursday. And it has been their policy not to geoblock. Extra fun.

I think Terry Gannons or somebody said during the GP coverage a couple of seasons ago that KVDP has announced retirement many times and he has a habit of coming back!

    Go KVDP!

    Go KVDP!
in the coverage this weekend Terry did say that, and mentioned that SHOULD this be the final season he's only going through Europeans... why not go all the way to worlds?
