I love Kozuka's exhibition!!!! Gorgeous skating to beautiful music!!

Kozuka's exhibition to Nick Drake was... painterly. A pastoral sketch with his edges. And it finally spurred me to go listen to a Nick Drake album.

S/S's exhibition was intense. There were a few unusual and difficult moves I've never seen from them before. I love it when skaters put in real effort in an exhibition rather than just reuse a few bits from their competitive programs.

I've never seen Alissa look this happy and relaxed, ever. She seems like a new, more confident and happier skater. And of course, her exhibition went off without the slightest mistake despite the jumps she goes for. Also, skating to Audrey Hepburn would be hubris for almost any skater but Czisny.

And those are just the programs I have seen. I've still got more to watch. People really need to make an effort to see this gala. It's quite revealing.

IN usually puts up the galas, but months afterwards, I want to say in like December or January but I can't remember for sure.
