I think like most this is hard to do (full time school and skating). I'm not a Rachel fan so I don't care if she stops skating altogether but I feel for her. I think she may have to choose either or...

    Ashley Wagner (USA)

Music: Black Swan (soundtrack) by Clint Mansell

    3F+2T - 'tano 2T, nice
    2A+2T - planned 2A+3T, not enough speed
    3Lz - "e"
    FSSp
    ChSp - effective
    LSp
3Lz - twofooted, fall, UR? - why does she do two flutzes?
    3S
    3Lo
    3F - nice
    SlSt
    CCoSp

Except for the 2nd lutz, a solid performance...

Someone told Ashley to rotate her jumps. Very nice.

You know, I think Ashley and Nicks works. I can see a lot of improvement.

D: Skating to Black Swan soundtrack, such an ugly and awful movie. Very good job for Ashley, though. Love the staccato, pop and lock wing movement during the arabesque spiral, though.

She needs to call Stephane Lambiel! He could bring some fabulousness to her skating. She seemed rather disinterested in both her programs at SC - and I don't blame her.

Re Akiko, always nice to see a skater who holds her landings rather than rushing into some transition. But I can't stand Die Fiedermaus.

And Rachael, honey, your hair. The skate gods clearly do not approve.
Love Frank and he's the coach for most but I reluctantly agree. I felt this last season. It thought just keep crossing my mind for some reason,

Ashley Wagner has shown great improvement this year. Very impressive. Amongst American skaters, only Alissa Czisny and Gracie Gold have done better in my opinion. John Nicks has done wonders with her. The Eurosport commentators compared her with Natalie Portman!

He wasn't the coach for Carolina Kostner, either. She was dreadful when she was with him and returning to Huth did her a world of good. Frank doesn't know what to do with the inconsistent ones, it seems.

As well she should be - it's a new PB for her, I think.
