Majorov is not at fighting weight. Yet another fist-shaking swing routine. Ugh. I just hate those and they're so flippin' popular in this sport!

I love those super fast rotations the Swede gets on his jumps, and his 3/3 was the best!![]()
Lol, he reminds me of the mini-me in Austin Powers, so short & stalky looking.![]()
Following the thread WHo do you wish to come back I WANT kristoffer berntsson BACK!
Thus far I've been duly impressed with Romain Ponsart of France ~ his toepoint & turnout remind me of the best in the biz (aka John Curry & Emanuel Sandhu) ~ he must have a great balletic background. Now I'm truly excited for France after Brian Joubert leaves, they'll have the wonderful talented Romain to take over, he just needs to land those jumps (easier said than done I know, but his quad was gorgeous).
And Kev, as always, was a sincere delight (btw the colorful banner of his right by the ice is SUPERB, one cannot miss it, lol).Kev's problem is that he needs to fully rotate his jumps, as he is prone to UR and downgrades. But I'm just happy he landed his 3A!

Oh I hear they keep the trend of asking primary schools to visit the sp :D
Florent Amodio (FRA)
Music: Summertime by George Gershwin
Jumpin Jack by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
3A - good
3Lz+3T - holds onto landing
3F - ok, probably "e"
FCSp
CCoSp
CiSt - good attack
CSSp - screws up entrance, will it be invalidated?
Whatever else you want to say about Florent, he has the requisite ego.
Don't like Amodio's program at all, especially the footwork section, way too busy on the upper body/arms. Very distracting actually.
Too bad Amodio messed up on the entrance to the sitspin, but what I like about his skating is he makes the jumps looks easy, they come out of nowhere, swoosh! The very best make it look easy (ala Evgeni Plushenko).

Amodio
Score: 71.42, new SP, and into 2nd
Amodio was so into the frentic "footwork" sequence that he lost control doing the spin right after.
Adam Rippon (USA)
Music: Korobushko by Bond
3Lz - 'Rippon', nice
3A - long entrance, sets foot down early, holds on, but landed
3F+3T - 3T was < or even <<
FCSp
CSSp
SlSt
CCoSp
Nice performance and spins, still needs to work on his jumps.
