What a lovely skater! Murakami has such gorgeous skating skills, speed, elegance. Even with the two popped jumps, she landed 5 triples and 2 DA's.
Couple of pops here & there and a few bobbles, but another decent skate by Kanako.![]()
Glad to see a smile from Kanako today. Solid effort, I agree, despite the popped jumps....She might a UR on the salchow, that seem sort of borderline to me...
Kanako has personality and a tone of charisma and this program doesnt show any of it.
Kanako was so somber until she finished skating. Hard to believe it's the same girl as the one called "cutesy" all last season.
She's such a beautiful skater, I just want her to conquer her jump problems and straighten her working leg in spins if possible. She adds an odd little bounce going into her 3Loop. Beautiful flying sit.

Good performance, better than SA.
So she's abandoning 3Lz+3T and 3S? Probably the smartest choice.
I thought that was a solid effort -- Alissa isn't very happy though. Still she did 6 triples.
You know I've never really paid attention to Alissa until now (thanks to the gorgeous SP of hers), and I've noticed she's gotten slimmer. Not that she's ever had a weight problem, but she seems to have gotten slimmer & added more muscle....hhmmm....it makes me think this may also have contributed to her now being able to land her jumps?
Whatever the case, I like it, and I hope Rachael Flatt takes note.
