    Elizaveta Tuktamisheva (RUS)

    Music: Latin Selection

    3Lz+3T - nice, so solid!

Nice delivery, 6 clean triples... But will she score high enough to maintain her placement?

I knew about the 2F, guess I added another one. Still six triples and a 3-3! Whee.

Call me old school, but really, 2011? Toe loop, salchow, loop? Pathetic.

Watching Elizaveta is like watching Tara Lipinski & Mao Asada when they first hit the senior scene, though without the bad jumping technique of Tara. Such potential, but needs seasoning & maturity, not a natural in that department.

And I hate the extraneous use of her arms; she could learn a thing or two by watching how Alissa uses her arms, less is more. Back ramrod straight, perfect carriage, arms in a balletic attitude position. Not hunched over, mule kick, et al, like some skaters (aka Kanako for one).

Why try 2 3Lo when it's her worst jump? She also took out 3/3 out of LP. Kanako is shooting herself in the back!

I'm not a fan of Czisny's skating anymore since she switched to S&D. Sure, she's able to land her jumps better, but at what price? She looks so tense and stiff and CAUTIOUS on the ice now and her programs are SO watered down they're deathly boring. She telegraphs her jumps horribly, even the easy double axel! It's so sad. I used to be a big fan.

How in the world did Czisny beat Tukt in the LP??? Tukt was the only program worth watching today and was miles above everyone else!

Yeah, it's truly pathetic. You have to go back 30 years to get on the world podium with this kind of content. PCS sucks!

Yep, and the comparisons continue, Mao won practically everything (including the GPF) her first time on the senior scene, just like Elizaveta.

I don't think it was that bad. Yeah she was stiff at parts, but she definitely eased up as the program went on...
