    We can say Miyahara has practically won the title. JGP finalist Shoji is out of the final flight. Oba landed her first triple (f)lutz in a competition. I feel sorry for Riona Kato. All four novices made it to the free.

    Thanks for the results. I'm happy for Miyahara but I hope Risa can pull up and finish on the podium after the FS. Also I hope Keiji can keep his lead.

    Congratulations Ryuju Hino. This could be called an upset. In the final group, everyone except Tanaka skated (almost) cleanly. The top 3 will be sent to junior worlds. Uno is surely for youth olympics. I'm not sure who is the next eligible one.

    Oh Keiji... at least he did better than last year, a LOT better.

    I was hoping that Fujisawa could do better this year too but she did even worse than last year
