Thanks a lot for the elaborate explanation!The word used here was 泣き虫 "nakimushi". It means crybaby. If you break down the word into "naki" and "mushi," it literally means cry-bug (insect).
I just looked up why "insect" is used here and according to Yahoo Answers, it was believed long time ago that emotions and thoughts were triggered by an insect that lived in your mind. Another common word using "mushi" is "yowamushi" (weakling). There are other ways to describe someone who cries a lot, but "nakimushi" is probably the most suitable here. If it were someone more older or respected (not saying Yuzuru or Oda aren't, but they are younger than the woman) "namida moroi" (tears fragile) might be used.I hope this satisfies your curiosity.I'm learning something new here too!

Thanks all for the clips of Yuzuru's new long program. It's exciting to see him develop (sometimes it's hard to remember he's only 19) - he really does like to push the edge and challenge himself. All those quads were making me a bit nervous about his knees/potential injury.
What a media circus! It was kind of sweet that Yuzu admitted to Brian during warm-up that he was nervous and Brian told him "Be yourself". Brian does understand that pressure and scrutiny.

He always shows up at competition, except at Sochi because of the trademark rule.I'm still confused as to why Mr. Mouse was allowed to make an appearance but Mr. Pooh wasn't. IIRC I've seen Mr. Mouse at least in some practice video :think: but I might just be seeing things that aren't there, that's also possible (my best guess was that one of the human Misters stuck to the rules and left Mr. Pooh at his room, and that other biped thought "What they gonna do? Kick me out?")

I'm sure you are all aware of butt pads and how figure skaters use them to pad their butts during practices. Maybe they can trademark some " Yuzuru the Pooh " butt pads and sell them to skaters. Have I inhaled some fairy dust or something to be thinking about such things?
possibly, my product usually comes with a health warning due to risk of infection
but(t) I think your idea is extremely awesome. Just make sure to keep me away from the design, because I'd probably put shiny sparkling bling everywhere and that would totally defeat the purpose.

Aside from quads, Yuzuru is obsessive with Pooh. He has a room full of Poohs. He loves Pooh so much he brings Pooh to every one of his competitions. His coaches (Nanami Abe, then Orser) have to carry Pooh for him whenever he is on the ice. He asked for Pooh when Orser left Pooh away from his eyes.
