In honor of Kwan's Hall of Fame induction

Ice Newtwork showed her on ice induction. She looked stunning and as usual brought me to tears. I hope that NBC does broadcast it so her fans can watchyet another history making moment in her career.

Yes, IN just showed the on ice induction. As expected, I cried like a baby. The tribute on the big screen was hard to see, but seemed fun and funny. Every time they showed her skating, though, I could remember the event and started crying again. The part that got me the most was watching her walk on ice....I half imagined there were blades a la James Bond waiting to pop out of her shoes and she would just take off down the ice....it really is a kind of closure of sorts or ending and new beginning. no more gliding...she walks beautifully, of course, but to see her in this new role, so poised, so full of good memories and thanks, so looking forward and passing the torch was very moving to me.
