Have you checked out the ISU channel, upper right corner of the screen at

    www.isu.org

They broadcast Europeans, and will be broadcasting 4CC's.

Double click on the icon and they will test and tell you whether you will be able to see the competition in your country, before you pay the subscription fee of $18.50.

Here's a direct link to the 4CC's signup page.

Nope.......I tried the link and I guess we won't get it in Canada :(. When I clicked on it, it came up and then just disappeared. Oh well.

CBC has the rights to 4CC, so the ISU cannot show it through their pay-view system.

For me it was, what is the strangest gift you ever received? "A shirt." Now he has graduated to panties.

Well, on the other hand, it looks like they're showing a lot of Worlds live, and even some of Junior Worlds. And most of the GPF was live. I guess we can't expect to take over their entire network every time there's a skating event on

But, I agree, it would be nice to have a bit more coverage than that!

There are always complications when dealing with American rights holders.

He was still such a kid in this video. I LOL when he said his hardest times were when he started out as a Senior and came in 7th and then 5th before winning the Nationals, so bad that he "almost quit", just as he almost did after the Olympics 5th place finish. He has come a long way, as an athlete and as a growing maturing person.

It also shows how he has strong momentary emotional reaction to frustrations that he overcomes by going forward with more motivation and success. That and the natural high expectation of himself are both marks of a champion.

Alright, I now managed to watch this video. Hmmm LOL section ... Racing car and tools to build a house to bring to the desert? Hahhaha... the former is probably his dream present and the latter out of necessity. Definitely a 'pratical' person as commented by the interviewer.
And yes, he looks like a 'kid' then. Boy, he has grown into an attractive young man now

I just rewatched Patrick's last year National LP vs this year. I can't decide which one I like more. I love both. I just realized last year's LP, his TES was actually higher than this year, 103.41 vs 103.21. It's almost identical. The difference is in the PCS, 93.66 vs 97.60.

Hmm... I prefer Aranjuez simply because I prefer the music especially in its true form!

It works. I can see the 'test streaming'. (BTW, who's that Doris? Looks a bit like Kurt .. at least his hair ) I am surprised that we have access in the southern hemisphere. Can't believe that Canada cannot access despite being next door to USA?

The video following the one I linked earlier is very interesting too, with Patrick watching and commenting on his winning skate at 2008 Nationals. I love hearing skaters commenting on their performances, telling us about what was on their mind while skating.

Revealing for me are: That 3F was his favorite then and 3S the least. What about 4F vs 4S, Patrick? That he was a rhythm skater and also about the breathing during skating. As well, I find his fitness and endurance has improved so much that it's become one of his competitive advantages. He was pretty out of breath at the end of this outstanding performance. The program felt like an hour! That is how tough skating a LP is, contrary to the belief of many who think it's relatively easy physically.

Very belated response/addition to this comment, SkateFiguring. I like Kristy. I have been observing her behavior in the youtubes and she comes across as caring, encouraging and funny. In the World 2011 youtube, she jumped with joy when Patrick hit the quad (I think she would have screamed out loud if the camera had not been directed at her. She looked at the camera and reined in her reaction. hahaha), calling Patrick Harvey Banger and asking whether there are tel. numbers on the chanties. I noticed when Patrick tried to tell that that he didn't skate well, she would stay positive by telling him it's a great job. Muah Kristy. You worked wonders with Patrick. Wonderful teamwork.
