I'm about to make the first latkes of the holiday. Yum! Thank heaven for Manischewitz because when I make them from scratch, they aren't nearly as good. Our family gift is Madelyn, our new pug! I'm so happy she has joined our little family! My daughter is absolutely besotted with her!

Happy Hanukkah! My friends have decided to have a gambling day for Hanukkah gifts, so I got invited to join them (they know I like games of chance). Wish me luck in Winsor tomorrow.
