I am quite deeply into the reef aquarium hobby, which is where all my spare cash goes.... I need to cut back in order to have money to buy new skates!
Are there any other reef geeks here?
If so, do you belong to a club? I belong to WAMAS (Washington Area Marine Aquarist Society), and CMAS (Chesapeake Marine Aquarist).
My system is a 75 gal hard coral mixed reef, has a 29g sump, 1/2 full 55g refugium, and 16g nano connected to the system that has nothing in it. I have a "peaceful, mostly small fish" tank, which includes a pair of ocellaris, a Rainfords goby, a Hectors goby, a pair of ocellated dragonets, a purple firefish, an orange firefish, and a yellow tang. Lights are T5+LED. I drill my tanks myself and build my own stands.
It's a complex hobby, too expensive, but highly addictive.
